Проблемы при запуске игр.
Что делать, если после установки Стим фикса игра не запускается:
– Перезапустите Steam и запустите игру от имени админа.
= Так же это может помочь при ошибках свзяанных со Steam.

= Failed to connect to steam.
– Запустите игру от имени Администратора.
– Убедитесь что путь к игре не содержит спецсимволов или русских букв.
– Установите режим совместимости с Windows 7.
– Убедитесь что у вас установлен весь доп. софт (VCRedist 2005-2017)
– Так же бывает такая проблема, когда папка пользователя содержит не допустимые символы. (рекомендуем создать нового пользователя на латинице).
– Так же проблемы наблюдаются у людей с блокировкой VAC.
– Отключаем Брэндмауэр Windows, т.к. он может блокировать связь с верверами.

Клиент Стим для многих игр является неотъемлемой частью, ведь он помогает получать обновления от разработчиков и контролировать честность игрового процесса. Однако, часто программа может выдавать игроку разные ошибки, одной из них становится «Steam must be running to play this game». Сегодня мы расскажем как можно исправить этот баг.

Причины сбоя
Стим отказывается запускаться вследствие программных сбоев. Если перевести сообщения, то становится понятна причина — клиент Стим нужно запустить. Таким образом, по невыясненным причинам происходит отказ в доступе к утилите. Несмотря на активацию ярлыка, сама программа не запускается. Из этого выходит, что ей что-то мешает. Это могут быть битые файлы в корневой папке, антивирусы, вирусы и т. д.
Устраняем баг
Если у вас сама программа Steam отсутствует, тогда её следует установить и авторизовать свой аккаунт. Если же приложение уже есть на компьютере, тогда проделайте нижеописанное.

Другие варианты решений
Напоследок проверьте доступ к интернету. Без него невозможно зайти на свой аккаунт в Стиме. Скорость передачи данных должна быть высокой – протестируйте сеть на онлайн сервисах, например интернетометр от Яндекса.

I am not able to reproduce the issue at the moment. 
One quick-fix is to go to File > Settings > Ignore Steam client status

The issue is when you launch Steam with Admin privileges and Idle Master Extended without them.
Solution A: Run both apps without Admin privileges.
Solution B: Run both apps with Admin privileges.
Edit: Sorry, I did not notice link below images, there, solution number “7. Check Steam and Idle Master are running at the same user level”.
Shame on me.

olá, meu idle está com problema, quando eu entro, além de dizer que a steam não está funcionando quando ela está, nem o botão de login na steam nem o de abrir configurações funciona, eu clico e eles não respondem, alguém poderia me ajudar? já tentei desinstalar e instalar novamente, e também procurei no youtube, mas não achei a solução em lugar nenhum

Check the guide index on the right and find your problem if it is there.
You may note that, not all the “common” issues are listed here such as “Connection failed after 10 retries” (check this guide https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=818399628 ) or “Crashes” because there is not a proper and solid fix for those at the moment.
This will (probably) not fix your issue.
Library > Right click on L4D2 > Properties > Set launch options:
As recommended in the comment sections, if game doesn’t start, you may try to add:
Library > Right click on L4D2 > Properties > Local files (TAB) > Verify integrity of game cache.
If you have manually installed it:
Steam/steamapps/common/Left 4 Dead 2/left4dead2/addons/
If you have subscribed to the workshop:
Steam/steamapps/common/Left 4 Dead 2/left4dead2/addons/workshop/
There is two ways to do it.
1) Manually (recommended). Go to some dedicated websites for it, personally, I prefer gamemaps: http://www.gamemaps.com/l4d2/
Then look for an addon, for this example: Green Leather Coat with Driving Gloves, http://www.gamemaps.com/details/17950
Then select the download location from where you want to download it, click on Download again:
Now open the game. On the main menu, click on Add-ons:
then make sure your addon is checked and that’s it!
Benefit of this method is that you can easily remove the addon if it causes an issue or if you dislike it, simply go to the addon folder and remove it.
It’s not harder when using second method, just have to be sure to have unsubscribed from the workshop also.
Not all the addons can be installed in the same way. Some may need specific requirement, don’t forget to read the description of the addon, the author may indicate how to install it.
2) From the workshop. Browse the workshop to find what you want: https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/browse?appid=550
For that example, M1C Garand is being installed. Click on “Subscribe” button:
After that, a download from Steam should start, if not, close and restart Steam. Wait until it’s finished. Et voila!
Within the game: Options > Keyboard/Mouse > Allow Developer Console > Set to “Enabled”. Then close the game.
Now, go to Library > Right click on L4D2 > Properties > Set launch options and add:
Run the game and the console should appear, note that if you click somewhere else it will disappear. In the console, you can bind it by typing:
e.g. triggering console with F1:
Replace those values with your screen’s resolutions.
1: Verifying cache
2: Always run Steam as admin
3: Close Steam
4: Restart your computer
5: Open steam up as Admin
6: see what the game gives you
Output should look like:
Run L4D2 from the created shorcut.
Go to Steam/ (default location should be C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam). Then right click on Steam.exe > Properties > Compatibility (TAB) > Uncheck all boxes then press OK.
Go to Steam/steamapps/common/Left 4 Dead 2/. Then right click on left4dead2.exe > Properties > Compatibility (TAB) > Uncheck all boxes then press OK.
1. Gain ownership of C:\WINDOWS\SYSWOW64\WBEM\FASTPROX.DLL and assign yourself Full control of the file if necessary.
2. Rename FASTPROX.DLL at this location to FASTPROX.DLLOLD
3. All steam games will now launch without shaderapidx9.dll error. System restore can still successfully generate restore points.
Most of the time, it’s a screen resolution issue.
1) First thing to try is: go to Library > Right click on L4D2 > Properties > Set launch options and add:

w: width and h: height. Replace values with your own.
Note that you can specify monitor refresh rate (if needed) by adding:
1) Run L4D2 from Steam: Library > Left 4 Dead 2 > Play.
2) Most likely an addon issue.
Check in the addons folder, remove the addons that might cause an issue. Or simply remove them all then test one by one.
Addons from the workshop will be automatically downloaded when running L4D2.
Make sure you have unsubscribed from it.
3) Library > Right click on L4D2 > Create Desktop Shorcut. Then run L4D2 from that created shorcut.
0) Run L4D2 from Steam (Library) and not from a shorcut.
Go to Steam/steamapps/common/Left 4 Dead2/left4dead2/ then delete addons/ folder, make sure the folder and the subfolder workshop/ are not empty before doing that (or simply move all the addons):
Then go to Steam/steamapps/common/Left 4 Dead 2/. Right click on left4dead2.exe and send to > Desktop (create shorcut).
Now go to desktop and right click on the created shorcut then select Properties. Go to Shorcut (TAB) then look for Target: line. At the end add :

Finally, close Steam and restart it. Then verify game cache and run L4D2 from the created shorcut.
Go to Steam/steamapps/common/Left 4 Dead 2/left4dead2/cfg/. Edit video.txt and add:

Save the file (CTRL+S on Windows) and close it. Now right click on it then select Properties and set it to Read-only.
2) Open console and type:
First, make sure you don’t have “sv_cheats” set to 1. If so, close the game, verify integrity of game cache then restart it.
In order to get this achievement, you must help a player who has received this game as a gift during Christmas 2013.
He must finish the campaign alive. Also better start from the beginning (and not the final) to make sure to get it.
If you have received this game during that event, then uncheck the DLC and help another player who has received it.
Once you have unlocked this achievement, you won’t be able to give it anymore.

0) Update your drivers.
1) Go to Steam folder. Delete everything apart Steam.exe and steamapps/. Then run Steam.exe
Don’t worry, you won’t need to download your games again. Games are located in steamapps.
3) Uninstall Visual C++ Runtime from Control Panel.
4) Re-installation of Left 4 Dead 2. Go to Steam/steamapps/common/ and delete Left 4 Dead 2/ folder then donwload it again.
Before posting on the forum, make sure your problem hasn’t been listed above. And try at least the given proposition to your issue, if not all given propositions.
Also make some minimal researches, use Google or forum search bar. When posting, provide at least OS, GPU, CPU and RAM. And a precise description of your issue (not something like “help it doesn’t work”).
